Mazda RX7 1uzfe 1989
Description
Up for sale is a ready to go track car. Built for reliability with the added bonus of being street legal.
Genuine factory turbo FC RX7 painted in pale sand. Body is in good condition. Sunroof model but sunroof has been replaced with fibreglass. F1 style wing mirrors fitted.
The car has been converted to V8 using a 1uzfe engine- unsure of k's however runs extremely well. Few basic mods:
- Air Intake
- Full Exhaust (road legal)
- Link Computer
- Oil Filter Relocation
- Alloy Radiator
- Relocated Battery (behind drivers seat)
Behind the 1uz it's running a W58 gearbox that is smooth and in good condition. Short shift kit installed. Currently the car has a lock-diff which will need replacing for WOF.
Car is fully LVV certified for the following:
- 1uzfe engine and W58 gearbox
- Engine and gearbox mounts
- BC gold suspension (near new)
- Custom dash
- Two replica bride fixed bucket seats (currently only one seat is fitted)
- 17x8 and 17x9 wheels (currently running Enkei PF01 wheels 18x9 front 18x9.5 rear with good tyres)
This RX7 has a full homologated rollcage with MSNZ logbook and custom doorcards to fit. Two Sabelt harnesses included.
Overall car drives really well, is mechanically reliable and sounds great. Built well and ready to go.
