Breakout American Idol star and Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips' debut album “The World From the Side of the Moon” has been certified platinum by the R.I.A.A. in the U.S. less than a year after its release. Released in November 2012 The World From the Side of the Moon debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart and #1 on the Billboard Rock Album chart and has gone on to sell over 1 million copies.

To thank fans for their support Phillips is re-releasing his debut album to include three additional live tracks. Live versions of “Gone, Gone, Gone”, “Where We Came From” and “Man on the Moon” will join the live version of his hit single “Home” that is on the original album. This fan edition of The World From the Side of the Moon is due on the one-year anniversary of the album's original release. The new live songs were recorded during stops on John Mayer’s Born and Raised tour.
