Description
Rogers Essex Series 640. Two copies of the Owner's Manual included as pictured. The manual says June 1986 but not sure of the exact manufacturing date. Purchased from an Anglican church in the North Island several years ago when our children were learning to play the pipe organ. This is the closest thing to a pipe organ you can have in your house. All the keys and stops work. Still being played occasionally but the children are grown and we need the space in our living room. Comes with a full-width organ bench (no storage space under the seat). Full 32 pedals, both concave and radiating - that's a rare feature! Conforms to AGO (American Guild of Organists) standards as of the time of manufacture, for usability and uniformity. Originally a 2-channel organ, it was upgraded to a 3-channel organ with a new audio electronics box inside when we bought it. Has its own amplifier, the audio out leads to a Velodyne speaker (bass), plus 2 psb speakers (treble). The speakers alone are worth well over $1000. The 3 speakers and the organ bench pictured are included in this auction but not the black drawer unit underneath the Velodyne speaker. Dimensions: 115cm H, 155cm W Depth without pedalboard: 78.8cm Depth with pedalboard: 125.1cm Console weight: 250kg Organ bench: 120.5cm (L) x 35.5cm (D) x 65cm (H) The pedalboard can be detached for transport. You may come across 32-pedal organs from time to time, but they normally have straight pedals. It took us a very long time to find an organ with 32 concave and radiating pedals - this is what makes this organ so rare! The freight is door to door. We'll bear the shipping costs.
The organ has a pitch generator, tone generator and oscillator. For details, please see the photos.
