First released in the 1970's the Odyssey is one of the most famous synths of all time and it has been faithfully recreated by Korg, but improved by adding modern connectivity in the way of MIDI and USB, and slightly reducing the size to make it more compact than the large original. I can certainly say the faders are a dream to use compared with the (lets face it) terrible quality of the original ones, but the sound is the same heavy duty sound made famous over the last 30 years by such acts as ABBA, Bomb The Bass, Ultravox, Gary Numan, LTJ Bukem, Air, Tangerine Dream, 808 State, Apollo 440, Nine Inch Nails, Astral Projection, Chick Corea, George Duke, Josef Zawinul, John Foxx, Vangelis, Elton John, Jethro Tull, Jimmy Edgar, DEVO, Sea Level, Boz Scaggz, The Starship, Kansas, Jean-Luc Ponty, Brand-X, Wigwam, R.E.M. and Herbie Hancock.
