Description

Embrace traditional Russian folk music with the Osipov State Russian Folk Orchestra's Balalaika section. Recorded in 1961 in the former Soviet Union.

This album is one of Mercury Record's series of first-ever Western recordings made in the Soviet Union by non-Soviet technicians and musical staff, using equipment brought in especially for the sessions. It was made possible through extensive cooperative efforts of authorities in Moscow and the US.

Record Sleeve in GOOD condition. Record has some wear, but no audible scratches.
