The following auction is for what is perhaps the rarest item that we have listed to date. An original Queen acetate, there aren't all that many of these around at all. We previously had two, one of which has been sold to a European collector. As far as rare goes, I wouldn't imagine that there would be more than a handful of these in New Zealand if at all. The acetate has good provenance, all of which checks out and is a very valuable item.

The record has, “Queen,” written on both sides of the label in pen. I can’t determine who the hand-writing belongs to in particular so I won’t assume anything. There are no songs written on the label nor are there any dates. The first side has two playable songs. The first song is, “In the Lap of the Gods, (Revised),” and the second song is a tribute medley of Elvis Presley’s song, “Jailhouse Rock.” The second side of the record is far more interesting than the first however; the second side has, “Son and Daughter,” playing first, followed by another Rock and Roll medley featuring the standard, “Liar,” by Queen. In simpler terms: the second song follows the standard, “Liar,” but does so in such a way that the solos are reinterpreted, rifts are emphasized, and the tempo is altered to accommodate a longer version of the song.
