Best Bird Lorikeet Wet Mix 2.4kg Resembles the high-energy nectar food that is consumed by wild lorikeets when flowers are plentiful. It is a dry powder which combines easily with water to form a thick, creamy suspension which will not separate out ensuring that all nutrients remain available until consumed. It is a complete diet on its own or in conjunction with Best Bird Dry Mix. Wet Mix is readily accepted and enjoyed even when the bird is ill. Because it is sweet it can disguise unpleasant flavors and is the preferred vehicle for administering drugs, worming medicine etc.

Best Bird Lorikeet Dry Mix A specially formulated, balanced, maintenance diet in a dry, palatable ,ready to use form enriched with honey and fruit. It will not sour or spoil when kept dry and several days supply can be offered at one time. Birds fed a totally fluid diet have excessively liquid faeces. The droppings of birds fed dry food are firmer, more like those of birds in the wild - less mess and improved nutrient absorption. Dry Mix is a complete diet but can be used in conjunction with Wet Mix and fresh fruit if desired.
