This is a great new product as it only has to be used twice a year. The problem with monthly applications can be that if you are not given it at the correct times, flea infestations can quickly re-establish and this can take a few months sometimes even longer to get rid of.
Once Bravecto Spot-on is administered it is readily absorbed into the dog's blood stream. The active ingredient, Fluralaner, then distributes and persists for 6 months. It works inside the dog providing nose-to-toe protection.
It is suitable for dogs who swim/bath regularly, however, it is recommended that dogs are not washed or shampooed within 3 days of treatment.
Bravecto is safe for use on puppies from 8 weeks of age and 2kg bodyweight. Bravecto is also approved for breeding, pregnant and lactating dogs as well as "ivermectin sensitive" Collies.
