Description
This bottle green fishing float was produced by The Foster Glass Company in the UK. It was produced using a 3 piece mold, with the addition of a sealing plug. The seal plug has the embossed letters F . G . and half the C on it and on one half are the traces of the legend 'Pat. Pending and FGC, whilst on the other half are the traces of Made In England. Foster produced floats from around the turn of the century until about 1940. This probably dates from the 30s.
