Here is an unusual item of pottery from Brazil. It is unmarked and it features a fish. It is fired and glazed.

This appears to be and is believed to be Native Amazonian Pottery plate handmade from Brazil. This item of authentic incised folk art is 25 cm diameter, undamaged and heavy.

This type of pottery is made by the more less primitive tribes of native people living along the Amazon River. The clay is dug out of the river banks. There is a descriptive tag attached to the bottom. The condition is excellent for a hand crafted item.
