Width 18cm Age approx 1910-1920’s

I have here a beautifully hand painted highly decorated Satsuma Plate. The scene depicts a village with houses sitting upon hills, with water flowing from the village stream and hills in the background. To one side of the scene is a lone what looks like a Sakura tree or Wisteria in full bloom. On the back of this Plate is a maker’s mark of a red square with two Japanese characters in gold within. Also a rice paper sticker with the numbers 3-49-A Stamp. Condition excellent.
