A figurine of a man dressed in period costume striding out carrying a couple of packets of 'Huntley & Palmers Superior Ginger Nuts'. This striking figure in his dark green suit, soft black hat and buckle shoes was produced in 1999 by Royal Doulton as part of the 'Royal Doulton Advertising Series' produced for Millenium Collectables. It is number 6 in the series and stands 15cm tall. It was designed by William K Harper and is number 1737 in a limited series of 2,000. Along the front of the base is the legend "There are no 'ifs' nor 'ands' nor 'buts'. They are the finest Ginger Nuts!" The figurine is in excellent condition. An attractive advertising piece which should interest collectors from several fields;- advertising; Royal Doulton (limited numbers available) etc..
