Very old trio, rope pattern on a white ground. Gilded edges.

Larger than usual plate, 175mm diameter.

The mark is impressed and quite difficult to read. However, no doubt that it is Royal Worcester. Geoffrey Godden puts this mark between 1862-1875. There is also a hand painted pattern number, 8777.

For 150 year old china the condition is good. A very small chip to bottom edge of cup and some gild wear, particularly on the plate.
