EDWARDIAN PORCELAIN PIERCED DISH: All white porcelain with delicate filigree lace pattern, no maker's mark. Dimensions: diameter 170mm, stands on three small china legs so max ht 55mm.
Pierced dishes were used for sweetmeats or small fruits such as grapes as holes allowed fruit to drain. Family heirloom, provenance unknown. Could be used as bathroom soap dish.
