Black Diamond Speed 40 Climbing Pack

The Speed 40 is a proven on-route alpine pack designed for lightweight performance on rock, snow and ice ascents. It features an updated ultra-durable BD X-rip 210D fabric with a UTS(TM) coating that stands years of mountain abuse. Other features include a moisture-wicking backpanel, dual-density foam shoulder straps for better load distribution, the ability to shave weight by stripping out the waistbelt, lid and framesheet (which doubles as a bivy pad) and to add gear to the pack with ice-tool PickPockets(TM), snag-free crampon straps and a tuck-away rope strap.
