Down Wash Direct is an easy-to-use, safe, high-performance technical cleaner specifically designed for hydrophobic and regular down-filled clothing and sleeping bags that not only cleans effectively, but restores the durable water repellency (DWR) of both the fabric and the down fill while reviving breathability and maintaining fill power and insulation. So when your garment or sleeping bag needs a wash, Down Wash Direct is perfect. If your gear has had a lot of use with no cleaning or re-waterproofing then use Down Wash Direct in conjunction with Down Proof(TM).

• Highly effective cleaner which removes body oils and dirt from both the fabric and the down fill
• Restores the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) of both the outer fabric and the down to protect against rain and condensation, preventing the item from wetting out and maintaining the natural insulating properties of down
• Revives breathability, allowing moisture vapour to pass through the item, optimising performance in cold and damp conditions
• Maintains or improves the water-repellency of all Hydrophobic Down
• Water based, environmentally friendly, biodegradable, non-flammable, non-hazardous
• Does not contain fluorocarbons
• Approximately 100ml required per 2 items
• How to use:
• Sleeping bags and very large jackets are best hand washed in a bath or equivalent and then spin dried in a washing machine (or washed in a professional machine)
• Use neat Down Wash.Direct(R) to treat stubborn stains before washing. Remove all non-washable parts. Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions. Do not use conventional detergents
• Machine wash (for down clothing only):
• Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser
• Place maximum 2 items in washing machine
• Add 100ml of Down Wash.Direct(R)
• Wash according to care label, preferably on low setting and slow spin
