Motor and gearbox is the renowned BGTS 12V 4 pole 200w free wheeling unit . Just use the lever to engage free wheel., no drive pins to lose in the sand. Output is 103 r.p.m. The ideal speed for retrieval of line.

The motor is mounted the right way up.ensuring that the hardened and ground drive worm and the bronze hobbed wormwheel are always immersed in h.d lube dispersing the generated heat through the casing. No relying on seals for integrity.

Unit is fused 40 amp to counter the immense torque the unit produces.

For reliability no speed controllers are used...

Fully tig welded spool capacity is 2000 + metres

Note the 3/4 dia spar that locks the frame, reducing load on the tail bearing. This spar also provides an excellent carry handle freeing up the other hand for other tasks.

Unique over run brake and manual handle comes with winch. Not an optional extra.

All switch gear and wiring tinned marine grade quality .

One year warranty on motor. Three year warranty on winch.

Either mount on quad bike or spike onto beach. Suitable for beach,drone ,kite and crabpotting!!Will retrieve up to 4 sled mounted crab pots!!
