This is a classic Husqvarna rifle in 9.3x62. It has a Mauser style action and very high standard Swedish fit and finish.

This rifle features the hard hitting 9.3x62 calbre. This is a rarer calibre to see in NZ. It will put down anything you hunt with authority.

I have reloading dies and brass for this calibre that I will make available for sale after this rifle is sold. The 9.3 calibre is easy to reload for and is very forgiving. It shoots everything well.

The rifle is extremely clean with minimal wear on the blueing and light typical handling marks on the stock from use and storage. The stock has no major defects that I can see and the original sling swivels are in place.

The top is factory tapped for scope mounts and it comes with weaver style bases installed.

The bolt is smooth and corrosion free. The bolt face has no pitting or other defects. Extraction is very strong Mauser style and the internals of the bolt (spring, firing pin, etc.) are all clean and corrosion free.

There are iron sights installed. I see that one of the screws on the rear adjustable blade has some damage, but it could be swapped out.

The bore is excellent and clean. I own a borescope and visual inspection shows no pitting, rust, bulges, or other defects.

When I bought the rifle it had a broken after market recoil pad installed. I had a Pachmayr pad professionally installed to replace it. The recoil pad makes the rifle easy to shoot.

The trigger breaks cleanly and without any creep.

Husqvarna rifles were hand built in Sweden and have fit and finish that matches Sakos of the same era. They have a fit and finish that puts many modern rifles today to shame.

This is a really clean and fine example of a vintage Husqvarna in a very well known European calibre.

I am thinning out my rifles that I don’t have time to shoot. I love Husqvarna rifles, but this one just isn’t getting much use and should find a new home.
