Is it a FOIL, or is it a FIN? Nope it is a Manta.

It is smooth, sleek, shiny, beautiful and very exclusive!

Custom designed and hand made in Auckland, a product of being locked up in a shed full of tools due to Covid 19. There are only 3 currently in existence, and this is the 3rd one offered for sale. The last pic shows Manta's parents, but are not part of the auction.

Made from Carbon Fiber, for strength and low weight, it provides incredible lift in low winds, and a smooth ride (compared with a fin).

Use your standard windsurfing board and sails, replacing your fin with Manta for a smooth, foil like ride, and an easy introduction into foiling.

Tips: Generally rig 1 sail size smaller than you normally would for the wind. Put the mast base as far back in the track as it will go. Keep your weight at the rear, as it will tend to lift up more than a fin. Sail with an upright stance. Keep the board very FLAT on the water, to prevent spin outs. Don't lock in the power too fast when starting - the front of the board sticks to the water, and takes longer to break free, and you will catapult as the rear rises.
