Commonly called the cutest sheep in the world, the Valais black nose sheeps characteristic appearance involves black parts of the nose, eyes, ears, front knees, ankles, hocks and feet in an otherwise white coat. Ewes also have black tail spots. With spiral-shaped twisted horns.
The Valais Blacknose sheep has an incredibly thick coat of wool - even on its legs! But it also needs the thick wool to keep warm, because at home in the Swiss mountains, there's often a cold wind blowing. I wonder if it will share some of its wool for its friends to make a nice warm scarf?
