In 1994 the JTCC (Japanese Touring Car Championship) switched from being a Group A category race to Supertouring. The first champion of the new Supertouring series was Tom’s racing with their Toyota Corona race car! Though this may look like a normal four door sedan the car was heavily modified for racing.
