Italeri: 1/72 German King Tiger - Model Kit

King Tiger tanks were nearly impervious to Allied anti-tank weapons from the front. Tank to tank engagements frequently involved Allied tanks attempting to get around to the more vulnerable flanks and rear of the Tiger. By comparison, the Tiger's 88mm main gun could knock out many Allied fighting vehicles at ranges of up to a mile. Fortunately for the Allies, early Tigers were unreliable and later ones suffered from lacks in crew training, oil supplies, and rushed production.
