A striking pair of Art Deco porcelain bookends or decorative sculptures crafted by Cortendorf, a German porcelain manufacturer established in 1890. These bookends feature seated nude female figures in an elegant, streamlined form, characteristic of the Art Deco movement.

They are divine & incredibly rare!

Made of glossy off-white porcelain, known for its smooth texture and durability, these figures embody the minimalist and sophisticated aesthetic of the early to mid-20th century. Each piece is stamped and numbered to the base 5551 R. & 5551 L., along with the Cortendorf Germany factory mark.

M E A S U R E S : Height 17 cm Width 8.5 cm Length 15 cm

C O N D I T I O N : Excellent condition with no visible chips, but they do have some crazing lines to the glaze. Both are stamped to the base.
