Description
In 1950 this windmill, built in 1844, an iconic Auckland landmark but was torn down to build a fire station. It used to stand on the site of the present day Cordis hotel on Symonds st . There is quite an interesting history that is around the only working windmill built in NZ .
I think it is a hand painted photograph.
