Description
Late 1930s piece from Italy with a late art deco-y form and the profuse Renaissance revival marquetry decoration that Sorrento was known for (and still is).
The tray is good and solid (I have repaired it and made it stable with a bit of clear epoxy resin), showing a bit of wear but ready for use. It is a great early-vintage piece.
Measures about 545 mm long over the handles and is about 362 wide.
