Fabulous silver 90% entirely handmade Russian Malinka earrings circa 1920. The fitting leverback style is still used in Angkor even today for fine quality Turquoise earrings. The turquoise is a mix of the finest blue and green turquoise sourced from best mines in Iran.

The cabochons are carefully polished on the top and you can see the raw untreated turquoise below. The central cabuchon is 5mm with the large petals 9mm long and the smaller beads 2.5mm. Turquoise of this quality and quantity is rare. The settings are hand engraved with 90% for the fineness of silver.

The curved tiered structure and chunky handmade settings place these between 1930 and 1950. They were sourced with the Russian rings listed. I have not used a deep chemical clean as turquoise is a porous stone that would be damaged if submerged in harsh chemicals and I wanted to retain some of the patina.

The are 6.05 grams combined and 18.8 mm long and 11.3 mm wide. Will come in the luxury leather and velvet box shown.
