A very rare and much loved Georgian love heart locket ring. This was created in the 1820's and is now over 200 years old. The locket still work and closes beautifully. This was tested using an XRF machine showing the locket is 15ct gold and the shank 9ct gold. The fabulous repousse work is now worn thin and this would have originally have had a locket of hair encased in glass as a love token. I have included two photo's from an almost identical ring that was in a less worn condition so you can see how the original item looked.

This is still a wonderful treasure for the antique lover and was sourced from an estate auction and has been verified by antique experts. It is in wearable condition but with great care. Is currently a size N (average size) and cannot be resized. It weighs 1.8 grams.
