I have carved a series of work that explores the ways women use to be attractive and socially acceptable. This is one of this series. These were exhibited as part of an exhibition called'Unwearable Art'. This work was shown in Wellington, Hamilton and Vancouver at the World Jade Carving exhibition. Some work was also shown in Suzhou in China.

The stone is jade sourced from Australia and is black and shiny for the case. The fiber optic material for the bright red. This was the perfect combination to create a sculpture that looks like a lipstick.

The lipstick measures 70 mm high and 15mm x 15mm deep.
