Early 1980s – key period in NZ art Original quarterly publications
These copies are notable for their exceptional internal preservation:
- No pen or pencil markings in any issue
- Clean, crisp pages throughout
- Original subscription cards, inserts, and promotional material still intact
Such completeness is increasingly uncommon, as these inserts were often removed or discarded.
These are authentic quarterly publications documenting a formative period in New Zealand art, featuring leading artists, exhibitions, and critical writing of the time.
Condition: Internally pristine across all issues. Covers show only light, typical signs of age in some cases, but overall presentation is very well preserved. Issue 33 also has a circular wine-glass stain on its cover. I’m pretty sure it would have come from a tasty Aussie Shiraz
An excellent opportunity for collectors, researchers, or institutions seeking high-quality examples.
