The original watercolour was damaged during a conservation process and as it was considered a "an important image" the Auckland Art Gallery made this accurate photo reproduction. It is framed, glazed and mounted with acid free mats and is colourfast. The original was given by the artist as a wedding present to my Grand Parents and passed down the generations . Alice Whyte was a renowned water-colourist (a contemporary of and painted with Francis Hodgkins) she painted many scenes around Auckland and is represented in major galleries around the world. This is entitled "View of Rangitoto from Howick" . Will deliver free to wider Auckland / North shore
