Description
Two reproduction Japanese woodblock prints by the artist Hokusai (1760-1849). Hokusai became famous for his series of prints called "36 Views of Fuji". These are two of them. I am selling the pair together. One is the Great Wave, a famous image, the other is a more peaceful, lesser known image of Shishirigahama. I bought these myself in Tokyo in 1977, which gives them an age of almost 50 years. they are framed in glass, and in very good condition. Dimensions are 500 wide by 360 tall.
