These high quality fire bricks are brilliant for a wide variety of high temperature applications including wood burners, fire places, pizza ovens, welding tables, hangi's, fire pits, charcoal BBQ's etc.

This listing is for a pack of six bricks. The freight rates are for the bundle.

The massive 42% alumina content give them the extra durability for residential applications which are subject to greater thermal shock (temperature change from heating).

These high density refractory fire bricks are ideal for use as a floor in an oven or for walls and floor in a fire.

For cooking applications, density is critical, as the bricks absorb heat from the fire then releases it via convection into the food being cooked. 25mm thickness balances performance and economics.

If using the bricks in a fireplace they are excellent for protecting surrounds from direct flame contact and absorb heat energy to radiate it out of the fire and keep you warm. They create a cleaner burn and more consistent heat.

These bricks are rated to handle up to 1730 degrees C (1400 under load).

The bricks are heavy, weighing approximately 3.6kg each so we can only send 6 bricks at a time via standard courier. This means we are unable to combine freight. If you need a larger quantity we are happy to quote for the freight via Mainfreight - it is usually quite economical to collect from one of their depots.

Please note that fire bricks can vary in shade (colouring) depending on the production run. They are brittle by nature and may have small chips around the edges (although I am fussy about what I send out!).
