Chamaedorea Costaricana - also known as a “bamboo palm” – but these are Not a bamboo.

These plants have been raised outside for 4+ years – very hardy Each bag is DOUBLE PLANTED They have been given a spring leaf trim, fed and ready for your garden or pot New leaves will appear very quickly and new suckers will appear at ground level. Approx 1.6 to 1.8 total height in 18 litre felt pots.

A clumping palm that looks gorgeous inside or outside. Used for screening when planted in groups Landscaping / underplanting etc – to give height and a lush tropical look to any garden. Containers / planters or decorative pots on patios, inside or out – they all work - see pics Best in relatively sheltered spots, indirect light or part shade. These palms can tolerate full sun … but not all day. Easy to grow with graceful soft leaves, slender stems and compact habit. Maximum height about 3.5 mtrs over 10 years. Plant in well-drained soil and keep the soil moist but not waterlogged Low maintenance … just cut off the spent fronds.
Feed twice a year … spring and autumn – sheep pellet Fertilisers work well.
