Description
Liberty electric sewing machine which retracts into an ornate oak sewing cabinet. The cabinet is quite tidy except for the veneer on the very top hinged flip over lid - which needs rejuvenating. The cabinet drawers are still full of sewing bits and pieces, including the original tool kit, pins and needles and bobbins etc. Whilst the "foot-treadle" part is still attached to the cabinet, I think the mechanical workings are missing from the right hand side opening cupboard, so it doesn't work manually. Either way, it is a lovely historic piece of furniture, with no borer.
