Bernina 325 Sewing Machine

This machine was purchased brand new in April 2025 by my mother. At the time of purchase she expressed concerns about the forward facing bobbin and whether she would be able to manage it due to arthritis in her hands. She was reassured that she would get used to it and that it would not be a problem. Unfortunately, despite returning the store for assistance and lessons, my mother continued to struggle and has ultimately been unable to use the machine at all. As a result, it has seen virtually no use since purchase. Unfortunately, the store were unwilling to offer a refund which was very disappointing considering the machine was not fit for my mothers purpose. So here we are, trying to recoup the cost of the machine, which I would class as brand new! Mum is 88 and has been sewing for a very long time, it is her passion and there is not a day she isn't at her sewing machine sewing the most wonderful creations. It was just very unfortunate that she chose the wrong machine for her. She has now purchased a machine with a top loading bobbin and is back in her happy place.
