Provenance & Story

Recovered between 2012–2013 from a remote, long-dead Rata forest near Mt Taranaki. Our bush crew spent over six months extracting these massive ancient trunks by hand in rugged terrain. Every slab carries a piece of New Zealand’s natural heritage — ready to be transformed into your next masterpiece.
