Pass Labs X1000 Monoblock Power Amplifiers – 1000W Per Channel Reference

The Pass Labs X1000 monoblocks are 1000 watt (1KW) per channel MONOBLOCKS! Featuring a no-compromise flagship design, built at the peak of Nelson Pass’ engineering philosophy. These amplifiers employ Pass Labs’ patented X-Series Super-Symmetric™ topology—a fully balanced, dual-differential architecture that cancels distortion at the circuit level rather than relying on heavy global feedback. The result is exceptional linearity, ultra-low noise, and a natural, unforced presentation with outstanding depth and control.

Each X1000 operates in pure Class A up to ~100 watts, exceeding the full output of many high-end amplifiers, before transitioning seamlessly into a very high-bias Class A/B region. The front-panel meters indicate real-time Class A operation—something rarely exceeded in normal listening, even with demanding speakers.

The massively parallel MOSFET output stage delivers enormous current and is unconditionally stable into low-impedance and reactive loads, allowing the X1000 to drive virtually any loudspeaker with authority

Weighing over 90kg each and nearly 70cm long, these amplifiers are built without regard for size or cost. To achieve this level of Class A bias, discrete balanced architecture, and current delivery today would easily exceed $50,000+.

These units are in excellent cosmetic and working condition, have been fully tested and confirmed to be in good health. Essentially ‘museum quality’, these have been previously paired with Pass Labs X0.2 preamp (the matching flagship preamp) which is also for sale (please contact us). These monoblocks were manufactured August of 2004, late in there production line, as confirmed by the NZ Pass Labs distributor.
