Duration of each tape is about 8 min. Please specify Playback Head configuration for the tape. The following tones included: Tone 1. Level 1 kHz at 250 nWb/m Reference Fluxivity. 0 dB, 30 sec. Adjust playback gain controls to obtain EQUAL 1 kHz output signals on both channels. Tone 2. 1 kHz Head height alignment. +12 dB, 30 sec. Set EQUAL MINIMUM 1 kHz output signals on both channels using the head height adjustment screws. Tone 3. 15 kHz Azimuth alignment. -10 dB, 20 sec. Set MAXIMUM level and EQUAL phases of the 15 kHz output signal on both channels using the Head Azimuth adjustment screw. Tone 4. 1 kHz Head height alignment. +12 dB, 30 sec. Set EQUAL MINIMUM 1 kHz output signals on both channels using the head height adjustment screws. Tone 5. 15 kHz Azimuth alignment. -10 dB, 20 sec. Set MAXIMUM level and EQUAL phases of the 15 kHz output signal on both channels using the Head Azimuth adjustment screw. Every time, after you adjusted Head height, Azimuth must be readjusted. So, 1 kHz Head height / 15 kHz Azimuth sequence will continue till the end of the tape.
