A flight simulator featuring three different planes, over 100 different airports and maps for major U.S. cities. Microsoft Flight Simulator also includes formation flying, a NAV system and a few other bells and whistles. For MS-DOS IBM compatible PC’s.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 3 improved the flight experience by adding additional aircraft and airports to the simulated area found in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2.0, as well as improved high-res (EGA) graphics, and other features lifted from the Amiga/ST versions.

The three simulated aircraft were the Gates Learjet 25, Cessna Skylane, and Sopwith Camel. Flight Simulator 3 also allowed the user to customize the display; multiple windows, each displaying one of several views, could be positioned and sized on the screen. The supported views included the instrument and control panel, a map view, and various external camera angles.

Condition Good: Manual, charts and other inserts only - no game discs. The set includes the Information Manual and Flight Handbook, Complete Set of 5x Charts / Maps, Quick Reference Guide and other inserts. Nice condition used manual with no major, but numerous small defects. Many small but noticeable marks, and creases where the pages have been turned. Significant, but light to moderate wear. The Quick Reference guide has greater wear, particularly along the spine. The set of five charts are in excellent condition with only a few hardly noticeable marks, tiny creases, etc. Also included is a non-game flyer.
