I believe the model is a frankenstein of different parts, but is one of the newer model and works perfectly. The controller's battery doesnt work and the top half is from a OEM infamous controller. The PlayStation 3 is Sony’s seventh-generation home console released in 2006, known for its Blu-ray support and strong first-party exclusives. Later hardware revisions were smaller, cooler, and more reliable than the launch models.
