Heat pump Installation Terms & Conditions The installation is a back-to-back install; please take a look below for details. The outdoor unit is placed at the base of the outside wall on which the indoor unit will be installed, and the two are connected. The connection shall not exceed 3 metres. Our installer will visit your home, provide an assessment of your situation, and let you know if your installation will be standard or will incur extra costs. Possible Extras. -The connection exceeding 3 meters between indoors and outdoors. Extra $60/meter. -Brick wall penetration: $50 -Concrete wall penetration: $100 -Dedicated power line installation from the switchboard to the outdoor unit. (6 kw or larger units). Approximately $200-600 depending on conditions. -Wall bracket or roof mounting kit installation for the outdoor unit. $50-$200 -Poly slab base for the outdoor unit: $50 -Detachment of old unit: $60 -Disposable of old unit: $60 -Any aerial work higher than 3 meters -Drainage pump
