Description
Selling my Barista Express as it has recently developed a pressure issue and the milk frothing has become weak. I have upgraded to a new machine and am clearing space.
The Details:
The Good: The integrated conical burr grinder still works perfectly and the machine powers on without issue. All buttons and the hot water function are responsive.
The Fault: It is struggling to reach extraction pressure during the pour, and the steam wand has lost its usual power. Likely an easy fix for someone handy with these machines (solenoid or pump).
Condition: Generally well-maintained, though there are noticeable surface scratches on the stainless steel drip tray from daily use (see specific photo).
Included: 54mm Portafilter, filter baskets, and the original stainless steel milk jug.
This is a fantastic project for a "coffee tinkerer" or someone looking for high-quality spare parts.
Pickup from Devonport, Auckland, however I could possibly drop off to around Grey Lynn, Pt Chev, Avondale or Te Atatu. Pickup is easy and parking is available
