Description
This is a "Breville the Infuser" Espresso Machine BES840
This has been a great coffee machine for making espresso at home for the last few years.
Here is a review of it (AI says: "The BES840 and BES840XL are actually the same machine — the Breville Infuser. The suffix letters after the model number don’t indicate a different model; they indicate colour or finish variants.")

Machine works well. Regular cleaning and descaling when indicated necessary by the lights on the front of the machine. I've upgrade to the Breville Dual boiler. The grouphead and portafilters are a different size so you get all of the 54mm accessories/upgrades that I have bought for this one.
This includes: Crema dosing cup Crema dosing ring IMS Precision portafilter basket
The original Breville baskets are present, including the pressurised double wall ones which are used if you have pre-ground coffee.
Of note, to use the IMS or Breville single wall baskets you will need a grinder with enough adjustability in the espresso range to dial in your beans. My first grinder had grind size from 1-30 but anything looser than 2 was too loose to produce pressure; the water just ran straight through. I had to upgrade to a proper espresso grinder.
I don't have a receipt. We've had the machine for at least 5 years. It is used for 1-5 coffees daily depending on who is home.
I think this machine is for you if you are curious about making espresso at home but don't want to make a big investment yet. If your budget stretches to it check out the machine/grinder combo "Breville Dynamic Duo" at Briscoes. It's on sale for <$1650 and is a bargain at that price.
