AUCTION is for a good looking and useful Alvar Aalto style 1950s Table Desk by ESA furniture UK
Clearly drawing inspiration from Alvar Aalto's 1940s 'Writing' desk for Artek, James Leonard conceived of this Desk/Table as Teachers table for ESA (Educational Supply Association) UK.Constructed to last from a combination of Solid and bent ply Ash and Beach with a flush mounted inserted rubberised Blue top. This good looking Mid Century piece will make a great mid sized Task desk or even a 4 person dining table.
CONDITION; Overall very nice used vintage condition (see pics) The wood frame etc is solid with no issues, the top is also in good with the exception 4 small marks in the rubberised top in one corner (see pic # 7 )

TRANSPORT; happy to work with you or organize and pack for you. Alternatively, I can safely store for an extended time, until safe collection can be arranged provided the table is paid for.
