ALPINE Myosotis alpestris 'FORGET ME NOT MIX' x 30 seeds

Hardy Alpine Forget Me Nots can be found in rocky places or high in the mountains. Myosotis alpestris is a hardy biennial-perennial plant with rich long green leaves. The flower has a yellow centre disc shape with BRIGHT PINK, BLUE or WHITE petals which bloom from spring to autumn. Forget me nots can be grown in containers, rock gardens or borders that have access to sun. Also a good ground cover. Reseeds itself liberally. 20-30cm tall.

HOW TO GROW:

Sow seeds in containers, indoors in early spring for summer flowering, or may be sown all year round.

To sow the seeds, use a pot or seed tray with drainage holes filled with well-draining seed starter soil. Sprinkle 2-3 seeds every 2cm across the soil surface. Press the surface down to ensure the seeds are in contact with the soil. Sprinkle soilmix lightly over the top. Keep evently moist until germination. Once seedlings have two sets of true leaves, it’s time to harden them off over the next 10-14 days, before transplanting outdoors. Water in well after transplanting seedlings 15-25cm apart.
