15-20 M It is native to the Rocky Mountains of the United States but it has been widely introduced elsewhere and is often used as a specimen tree. An evergreen conifer with a pyramidal form, it has densely growing horizontal branches with sharply pointed bright, powder-blue foliage. Stunning for colour contrast in landscaping projects, as a windbreak or tall screen. Often grown as Christmas trees.

GROWING CONDITIONS: FROST RESISTANT FULL SUN FREE DRAINING WIND TOLERANT
Seed germinates without pretreatment. 4 weeks cold stratification will speed up and even out germination. Google for advice.
