SEEDS Botanical : Lobularia maritima
A vigorous, heat-tolerant sweet alyssum variety known for its abundant large pillowy fluffy mounds of fragrant pure white flowers perfect for spilling over edges forming clouds of blooms ideal for hanging baskets, pots, platers, containers, rockeries and ground cover attracting many pollinators like bees and butterflies with its long lasting June-to-September display.
Has a lovely scent. It is a robust annual with a trailing/mounded habit, growing about 15cm tall and spreading 30cm wide, offering a lovely scent and culinary potential. Flowers and leaves have a pungent, kale-like flavour, edible in salads, soups or omelettes.
