Spring/Autumn - Also known as German thyme. An evergreen, perennial herb, the leaves and stems are used in meat stuffings, soups and stews. Grows to about 30cm in height and bushes out a wee bit. Medicinally, thyme is thought to help fight viral and bacteria infections and have antioxidant properties.
