Kakabeak is named for its red flowers shaped like the beak of the native parrot, kaka. Flowers appear in spring and summer and are distinctively shaped like a kaka's beak, the native parrot. Kakabeak are easy to grow, are nitrogen fixing so will thrive in poor to average soils, including dry sites once established. Bushes grow to 1.5 metres high and wide. Plants will attract native birds when flowering. Seed is easy to germinate and plants are fast growing.

We are unable to combine shipping for separate orders. You can add tubers, dried bulbs and seeds to potted plants at no extra shipping cost.
