Suitable for all year round sowing. Sweet & juicy! It is resistant to tip-burn & bolting. The tender, ruffled leaves are glossy bright green with a bronze blush, forming beautiful, 15cm heads nestled in 25cm wide, uniform plants.
This lettuce has been a top performer in trials for years in plantings from early spring to autumn. The green & red leaves are shiny & puckered. The outer leaves form a whirl around an oval head. The heart of the lettuce is crisp & cream coloured.
Excellent for adding colour and contrast to salads. Good variety for baby-leaf too. Colour intensity increases with exposure to heat & frost. Harvest leaves as required.
Sow direct or start in seed trays & transplant seedlings out in 4 to 6 weeks. Sowing Depth: 3mm Grow all year long in SPRING, COOLER SUMMER & AUTUMN depending on your region:
